Oxfam Trailwalker Volunteering

Hi Hashers, here is so info sent to us by Oxfam Trailwalk:

Walk in the bush and Challenge Poverty at the same time!

We are looking for volunteers to help us mark and sweep sections of the

Oxfam Trailwalker Perth trail in the Perth Hills from

Thursday 8 October to Sunday 11 October.

Can you help? Click here to register as a volunteer.

Oxfam Trailwalker is one of the toughest team challenges in the world. Oxfam Trailwalker Perth is on 9 – 11 October

and will see over 400 teams of four walk (or run) 100km in under 48 hours or 50km in under 24 hours through the beautiful Perth Hills.

Oxfam Trailwalker is a huge logistical exercise, and we couldn’t do it without the support of our amazing volunteers – people just like you.

Volunteering at Oxfam Trailwalker is a fantastic way to meet people, bond with colleagues and friends, share in the excitement of

Oxfam’s biggest fundraising event and most importantly, make a difference to the lives of people living in poverty.

We need people to help us mark and sweep the trail in sections ranging from 7km – 18km. Shifts are approximately 4 – 5 hours in

duration and we have shifts available around the clock from Thursday 8 October afternoon to Sunday 11 October morning.

Volunteers walk the trail in groups of four, so this is a great opportunity to volunteer with friends, family and club members, or to meet new people.
