WOW … So Many Options For A Title …!

This week’s run started with a *Human Foot* marking a NEW direction … because the Hare CHANGED HIS MIND ….. What the …..? A human foot ???
Then we eventually gathered outside some unsuspecting folks gate to riffle through their verge throw out that was quickly depleted (Oh … we do have some squirrels in the pack)
The pack got sent off on an uphill track (Yuk) that did level out and encompassed some spectacular scenery and, eventually, a welcome drink stop, albeit on a dull track by a big tree with an esky well hid ! It really was a good drink stop ….. ! Most welcome …! As walkers were first on the scene we had the major part of refreshments and moved on …
It seems that the runners did find the remains …. (Tee Hee)
Another great moment was the fact that 3 (Yes 3) generations of a family *got lost….waylaid …. or just had too much fun at the drink stop*  and came very late, running in carrying the esky ! Oh Boy are we good !!! (It was empty … !)
The fun did not stop there … In the circle, we had blood … blood on the tracks (as per Mr DYLAN) so the Lame Duck came out ! However, there was a competition as to who earned it most ! (Really !)
Finally, the front running B******S were rewarded with the very latest award named *Titty-Winx*  You just had to be there as Leapfrog was soooooo chuffed with her purchase !
As a slight aside Porno – person (?) turned up so late and as the Hare had changed his mind (female side apparently) tried to do the run backwards. Fortunately, he was not too traumatised and joined a few of us for a curry afterwards ….. !

Hills House Warming

Super sunny Sunday had the pack cosy parking on the verge at Dosh and Wacuda’s new abode. After a few escorted tours around, we were directed to the On-On
Walkers followed a very well marked trail that took in a bit of bush track and runners had similar. There were not many hills in these parts and even less water but lovely wildflowers dotted about.
It seemed that the runners were quick this week so got back in record time before the walkers who straggled in eventually ! We had a few nibblies before the circle was called and the Hare got his down-down (well deserved) The Monk took over and lashed out a few charges then opened the floor. This led to silly, silly charges and after all were exhausted we regrouped around a fire and yummy soup & bread supper.
Thanks Dosh/Wacuda for your hospitality !

Wet Socks, No Water & More Wet Socks ….. !

Don’t you just love it when the Hare says “It wasn’t this wet when I looked last time”
So, on a very pleasant Sunday afternoon, the pack gathered in eager anticipation of a saunter/jog round historic Guildford ! In true form, the Hare GPS informed us that we would be on chalk and flour .. (unusual for Hills !) but we took off feeling confident that all would be well.
In many ways it was BUT, also, it was not ! For the runners it was a quick dash back to the circle ….. for the walkers it was a slow slop through the reeds, mud, cold watery stuff, subsiding trail close to more wet stuff and slippy trail. Not much to worry about ….. ! Thank goodness Free Beer and the newest member of the club were ok ! Skimpy just did his usual veer off to the end of the earth and made it back with Teflon Kid still smiling … Glad to get rid of the competition (Baby sister …)
Most of the pack came back with wet socks so not much sympathy for any particular Hashers. We had a shortish circle with stand-in RA (SNB in a new role that he had obviously practised …) The charges were dispatched with swiftly and as it was getting chilly, here endeth the run report !
