Well, of course it was a fabulous run albeit almost vertical. We covered many different sorts of terrain – fire and bush tracks, narrow tracks through scratchy bushes with hidden rocks, roads, open forest and lush swamps (well a path near a stream anyway). It looked like Passiona and Leapfrog were going to miss the run, but they turned up once we were setting off…apparently a domestic server upgrade problem had delayed them…in my mind i can see how that played out “we need to leave for the hash now…open the hatch bay doors…” “I’m sorry, i can;t do that Chris”.
Anyway, what else. Wow yes the views were great, AND we had a drinks stop on top of the world (or the hill…felt like the world). The run and walk trails ingeniously wound in and out of eachother in opposite directions which avoided our run having an impact on the Earth’s rotation…always a good thing. In the circle there was much dobbing in for fines…most of which went to Pink Bits and the TickHead family for one reason or another. Eventually, Red Dwarf got to cook the sausages before the gas on the little BBQ ran out and a festival of tomato sauces could begin.

I guess it depends on how handicapped? We certainly have a walkers’ trail each week. Terrain is typical hills’ bush…gravel tracks, trails. Runners/walkers can plod along at their own pace…no need to belt along. We also have merry women. Does that help?
