Twas brillig, and the slithy toves (now with pics)

Hare: El Keeno
On On: The Pines, Darlington

We met beside the strangely one-side trees, and before you could gyre and gimble in the wabe, we were off.

Being Darlington, we started up a hill. Along the way we traversed all varieties of hill, including the uppy bits and the downy bits, galumphing all over the place. Runners returned slightly before the walkers (thankfully I cut some off the run trail due to the heat). As we rested, we had the pleasure of viewing bit of a dog wonderland, with all the Darlington canines having a bit of a play on the oval. Very nice.

A treat awaited for Hashers who had reached various milestones, in the form of cloth badges, including the much elusive 200 run badge (well done, Red Knight!). Extra special, we had gingerbread (I think?) baked into the shape of the number, so special thanks to Dosh or whoever baked it for her.

Hash Nosh was ham and salad of the very yum variety. I put some in my tummy.

That’s it…did you get this week’s mystery reference? If not, shame on you.
